Crestview Hills 75th Anniversary Information

The year 2026 marks the City of Crestview Hills' 75th anniversary of its incorporation as a Kentucky city. In honor of this, Crestview Hills is planning multiple events for the general public and residents. We hope you can join us to celebrate this milestone in history. Schedule of Anniversary Events

June 5, 2026 – Summer Concert at Thomas More University

Opening Band: Doghouse    

Main Act: Forever Seger – The Silver Bullet Experience (A Bob Seger Tribute Band)

Spring and late summer 2026

-Online scavenger hunt around the city: Bring out your detective skills and determine where certain landmarks are, take a selfie at each location and get a prize at the City Building.

-Online Photography Event: Have historic or current photos of Crestview Hills? We want to see them during this event. Photos will be highlighted in our City Newsletter, Website and Social Media.Tulip Poplar Tree

-Tree Planting at Centre View Park: The City will be planting a Tulip Poplar Tree (official KY State Tree) to commemorate our 75th and the 250th anniversary of our country.  Fun facts about Tulip Poplar Trees

July 4, 2026 – Fourth of July Parades

The City will be participating in the City of Fort Mitchell and City of Edgewood parades.

October 3, 2026 – Semi-formal Anniversary Dinner at Summit Hills Country Club

October 24, 2026 – Trick-or-Treat at the Crestview Hills Town Center and costume contest

December 4, 2026 – Holiday Dinner with Santa *Resident only event

Dixie Hwy and Shinkle Mansion early 1900s vs 2025

1968 Little Chapel move

1968 - The Little Chapel made its progression to its new home at Turkeyfoot Road and Thomas More Parkway (on the campus of the now-Thomas More University).

Left - Moving through Covington, KY where there was only 1 foot of space on each side between houses

Right - Utility workers assisted with the move by holding up low hanging utility wires
